Dr. Hamid Babaei is a distinguished specialist in Applied Chemistry and Precious Metals Metallurgy, with over 15 years of professional experience spanning academia, industrial research, product development, and international technical consulting. Holding a Ph.D. in Applied Chemistry, he has dedicated his career to advancing innovative technologies in the fields of precious metals refining, recycling, electroplating, hydrometallurgy, analytical chemistry, and chemical process engineering.

As the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Chemetal Persian, Dr. Babaei leads the research, development, and commercialization of high-performance specialty chemicals and advanced metallurgical solutions for the jewelry, mining, and precious metals industries. His expertise covers the complete value chain of precious metals processing—from laboratory-scale research and analytical testing to industrial-scale process design, optimization, and technology implementation.

Throughout his professional career, Dr. Babaei has developed innovative chemical formulations and proprietary industrial technologies aimed at improving efficiency, reducing operational costs, enhancing metal recovery rates, and promoting environmentally responsible processing methods. His work has contributed to the development of advanced solutions for gold and silver refining, platinum group metals (PGMs), electroplating systems, recovery of precious metals from industrial waste, and specialty chemicals for jewelry manufacturing.

In parallel with his industrial activities, Dr. Babaei has built an extensive academic career as a university lecturer and technical trainer. He has taught specialized courses in precious metals metallurgy, refining technologies, electrochemistry, analytical chemistry, and jewelry manufacturing technologies, combining scientific knowledge with practical industrial applications. His teaching philosophy emphasizes innovation, problem-solving, and the practical transfer of technology to industry.
