Tourism Exam

The tourism exam is one of the important exams in the field of service, cultural and tourism jobs. This exam is held in two formats:

1. Government employment exams related to tourism

2. Skill and technical and professional exams to obtain a tourism activity license (such as a tour guide, technical manager, tour leader)

Government employment exams in the field of tourism

These types of exams are held by organizations such as the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts or other government agencies (governorships, municipalities, free zones, etc.) to recruit personnel in tourism departments.

These exams are held to issue official tourism activity certificates and prepare individuals for the following jobs:

Types of licenses:

Cultural tour guide

Ecotourism guide

Technical manager of a travel agency

Travel service office manager

 General requirements:

Minimum diploma or bachelor's degree (depending on the type of license)

Passing a specialized tourism training course

Passing the theoretical and practical exam of the Cultural Heritage Organization or Technical and Vocational

Fluency in English (for tour leaders)

Objective of the test:

Tour Leader Exam (Tourist Guide)

Objective of the exam:

Obtain an official tour guide certificate from the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and work as a cultural tour leader, nature tourism or specialized guide (such as a guide to religious monuments, mountaineering, etc.).

Activity License Exam (Travel Service Office and Technical Manager)

Objective of the exam:

Obtain a license to establish a travel agency or work as a technical manager of the agency

Two types of licenses:

Section "B" license: Domestic and foreign travel services

Section "C" license: Implementation of pilgrimage tours

Euro5 Certificate Validity.
