HSE field

HSE field, which was seriously placed on the agenda of the Ministry of Oil around 2002 with the presence of major oil and gas companies in the world, including Total France, in major national and state projects in Bushehr province, especially the cities of Assaluyeh and Kharg Island, which are the main and vital arteries of the oil and gas industry and national income, was formed in this ministry, so that the HSE organization was formed and began to attract experts and professionals in this field from all over the country, which is now accelerating. However, the characteristics of this field of study are not specific to oil. HSE has quickly served other industries in the country over the past few years, including these industries, automobiles, nuclear power plants, shipbuilding, platform construction, all factories in the country, etc., which is evidenced by the establishment of administrative units under the title of HSE. Master's degree program: This field has been established in the University of Tehran and Abadan Oil University over the past two years, but given the very wide capacities, it is not sufficient.

HSE: It is a very attractive interdisciplinary engineering field that has wide application in various fields of industrial engineering, chemical engineering, mechanics, physics, civil engineering, oil, gas and management, metallurgy... Occupational health, environmental health and the environment.

Definition of HSE: HSE is composed of the first letters of the words Health, Safety and Environment. In general, HSE includes laws, regulations and processes that are for the safety of workers and contractors in the workplace, firefighting, environmental protection and also the protection of the surrounding environment against hazards.

Definition of Safety: The degree or degree of distancing and protection from hazards and a set of measures to prevent or reduce accidents and damages and risks that are inherent in any industry or service.

Introduction to the labor market The lack of specialized human resources in the country that covers all three issues of safety, occupational health and the environment, as well as the existence of the HSE structure and position in large organizations in the country, and the lack of HSE specialists in these organizations who have HSE knowledge, have made the labor market of this specialty very bright and attractive.
