Building Plumbing Skills Test (Water and Sewage)

Objectives of the Building Plumbing Test

1. Measuring the practical and theoretical skills of plumbing apprentices and master plumbers

2. Issuing official technical and professional skills certificates

3. Facilitating obtaining business licenses and professional activities in the plumbing field

4. Increasing the quality of technical services in construction and installation projects

5. Creating opportunities for work migration to countries with demand for skilled technical personnel

 Validity of the certificate

Issued by: Technical and Vocational Education Organization (TVTO)

National validity: Can be used in construction projects, offices, plumbers' union

International validity: Can be officially translated and presented to foreign embassies and employers

Approved in some countries with the possibility of equivalence

Basic Water and Sewerage Plumbing Skills:

Identifying types of pipes (polyethylene, PVC, five-layer, metal, cast iron)

Installing and executing hot and cold plumbing

Implementing building sewerage and connecting to the city network

Installing sanitary fixtures (sink, washbasin, shower, toilet)

Troubleshooting leaks and blockages

Insulating and testing plumbing

Using plumbing tools (pipe wrench, welding machine, threader)

Reading utility plans

Plumbing calculations and area measurements

Safety principles in plumbing work

Implementing built-in and surface plumbing

 Test Structure

1. Theoretical Test:

About 30 test questions

Topics: Types of pipes, fittings, safety, principles of implementation, water pressure, leakage, etc.

2. Practical Test:

Implementation of a simple or complex piping system according to the drawing

Connecting pipes with various fittings

Leak detection, pressure testing and insulation

Installation of one or more sanitary appliances

 Requirements for taking the exam

Educational qualification: Not required (literacy is sufficient)

Suitable age: Over 18 years old (no specific age limit)

Training required: Preferably you have taken a course or have work experience

Exam fee: About 200 to 400 thousand Tomans
